Looks like a corrupted gw.dat file to me. Try deleting the DAT file and getting a new one via an -image. If that doesn't work, it's most likely a sound/video driver issue.

I had something similar, my game client kept crashing every time I tried to log in. It only started happening since the latest update, but I reinstalled the game and used the -image command. Took a couple hours to download all the maps but it sorted out my crash problem. Maybe try reinstalling too?

Remove your graphics card drivers completely and your sound card drivers, and do a fresh install of both.

Overheating also a possibility? Try to clean out your PC as well. Make sure ALL vital air flow ports are unblocked and free of dust. Make sure all fans are working properly, not stuck on a random wire, as well as unclogged, also heat sync cleaned of dust caking.
You wouldn't believe the difference cleaning out some dust caking can make.

as I said earlier it will most likely be when I send my video card in and get it back that I do that.

Don't forget to install the latest drivers. They are not necessarily the ones that come with the card. And, don't forget to get and install the latest drivers for all your hardware - video and sound, chipset, etc.

well this is embarrassing I forgot that my audio card really hates the 3d setting in GW and most other games for that matter. I turned that off and no crash in the past day. its a asus essence STX headphone amp card.
